Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer
  • 1 Large Mixing Bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lamb loin chops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest rind of 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh rosemary

Instructions

Marinate the Lamb:

  • Pat the lamb loin chops dry with paper towels, then season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
  • Place the lamb chops in the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well coated.
  • Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 6 hours for more intense flavor.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Cook the Lamb Loin Chops:

  • Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
  • Place the lamb loin chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Ensure there’s space between the chops for even cooking.
  • Cook the lamb chops at 400°F (200°C) for 8-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. The cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the chops and your preferred level of doneness:
  • Medium-rare: 8 minutes
  • Medium: 10 minutes
  • Well-done: 12 minutes
