I have used Betty Crocker Brownie Mix. If there is a frosting packet with the brownie mix, do not use it for this recipe. Using a brownie mix makes it easier and quicker to create these crinkle cookies.
2. All-purpose flour
Start with a cup of flour. If you find the dough too sticky, add a tablespoon at time, till the dough can be rolled into soft balls.
3. Oil
Use any neutral-smelling oil like vegetable, canola, sunflower oil, etc. You only need one-third of a cup.
4. Eggs
I have used large eggs. This recipe is so easy, that you do not have to cream the eggs with sugar and butter.
5. Powdered Sugar
You only need less than half a cup – just enough to coat the cookies lightly.

- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Spatula or Spoon for mixing
Ingredients
- 1 Box Brownie Mix
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 3 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Oil
- Powdered Sugar (for coating)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F or 175 C
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper (baking paper) or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large mixing bowl, add brownie mix, all-purpose flour, oil, and eggs
- Mix well with a spatula or spoon.
- If the dough is too sticky, add a bit more flour – one tablespoon at a time.
- Make balls out of the dough and roll them in the powdered sugar to coat.
- Place dough balls on the baking sheet, and bake for about 11-12 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let the cookies firm up for about 5 minutes on the baking tray.
- Place the cookies on a cooling rack, and let them cool completely before storage.
